Pedro Ortegarias born April 18, 1966, in La Joya, San Francisco de Macoris, Dominican Republic.
He is the son of the couple, Pedro M ª Ortega and Arias Tomasina and has 7 brothers.
Received primary education in rural school where she was born at the Lyceum Secondary Eucación Monsignor Francisco Panal, the same place.

interested in the arts and started drawing with a stick on the soft sands in the river, the flood of the river left Bijao.
Pedro Ortegarias began his art studies at the National School of Fine Arts in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and is considered as a real artist "self" which, with its unique multi-style, reflected in his works the surrounding environment, where the beings that inhabit it are the real world of inspiration.
Ortegarias is married and has fathered three children with his wife. He currently lives Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, where he paints and makes sculptures in wood and stone, becoming a tireless researcher of contemporary art.
Pedro Ortegarias a member of the Dominican School of Artists (CODAP) and the International Artists Association (IAA), (UNESCO).
